Site Engineer

SITE ENGINEER – FIRE PROTECTION Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 5 Years We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Fire Protection to join our team in Abu Dhabi. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm installation works. Manage site activities, technicians, manpower, and subcontractors. Review approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors, suppliers, and other disciplines. Monitor site progress, materials, inspections, and project requirements. Prepare WIRs, MIRs, RFIs, daily reports, and other site documents. Coordinate Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm testing, inspection, and commissioning. Coordinate with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence for inspections, testing, approvals, and project requirements. Ensure all works comply with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence requirements, approved drawings, project specifications, and NFPA Standards. Follow up on NCRs, observations, punch lists, testing, and final handover. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of relevant Fire Protection site experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm projects in Abu Dhabi is preferred. Strong practical experience with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence requirements and procedures. Experience in Civil Defence inspections, testing, commissioning, approvals, and final handover. Good knowledge of NFPA Standards. Ability to coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, materials, and inspections independently. Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. Good command of English. UAE Driving Licence is an advantage. IMPORTANT Candidates without practical Abu Dhabi Fire Protection site experience and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence experience will not be considered.
